Power of Attorney

STATUTORY DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY
A less restrictive alternative to Guardianship is a Statutory Durable Power of Attorney.  A power of attorney allows a "principal" to designate an "agent" to handle the principal's business affairs in the event the principal becomes incapacitated.  The powers in any power of attorney are broad and sweeping.  Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that the principal has the highest confidence in the integrity and diligence of the agents appointed in such a document.  Please consult an attorney before signing

MEDICAL POWER OF ATTORNEY
A Medical Power of Attorney allows a principal to grant an agent the authority to make health care decisions for the principal in accordance with the principal's wishes, including the principal's religious and moral beliefs.
